« The quest for well-being is a social phenomenon today and an immense, multi-dimensional market. A phenomenon that is growing with increasing anxiety and uncertainty in the world, but also with the real need to build for the future » underlined Frédérique Lenglen, Managing Director of PPR during a breakfast talk that was held at the end of 2024.
During the session, PPR presented an inventive method that embarks senior executives, managers and employees on a co-building the future journey. A method that draws on the deep ressources of Science Fiction, creating a profoundly fertile terrain for stimulating and activating the imagination.
Once the teams enter the « Anticipation Capsule » created by PPR in cooperation with an innovation partner, Le Comptoir Prospective, they are in a setting that is conducive to creativity: drafting scenarios in a futuristic mode enabling them to be a step ahead on wellness, imagine new strategies for brands, in essence, regenerating the present.
Anne-Sophie Kandel, from our Burson Research & Insights department, assessed the analysis of the volume of conversations on the subject of mental well-being.
People are speaking out, and more than ever before, psychology, therapy and emotional well-being are inspiring brands to create new forms of relationship that converge towards unprecedented intimacy.
Brune Ouakrat from Peclers Paris immersed us in the new attributes of well-being: a « politisation » of well-being that has become a public cause; a « scientifisation » and a « medicalisation » in an unprecedented way; new sensory euphoria and hyper-stimulation that technologies will increase tenfold.
Overall, given the exponential growth in the quest for well-being, a huge number of sectors are closely concerned: tourism, hotels, real estate, health, nutrition, sport, beauty, technology, etc. The well-being market has a bright future ahead!
