MOBILIZING TO MAKE A CHANGE IN ONCOLOGY

For the 4th recruitment campaign, Gustave Roussy, the leading European research centre against cancer, and the Fondation Philanthropia, were seeking to renew the mobilization of the world’s best young talent.

We proposed a campaign that placed them at the heart of change and acceleration, highlighting the strong links created between doctoral students and their mentors.
The researchers, both young and also the renowned ones, were the ambassadors of the campaign entitled « Be a part of the next change in oncology ».

he human-centred, contemporary tone was crafted to reinforce the scientific ambition of fighting cancer to change the lives of millions of people.
The integrated campaign ran from November to May 2016 with a focused website and banners on scientific magazine websites (Sciences and Nature), which increased the web audience from 6,800 to over 76,000 connections. Flyers and posters were designed for downloading and distribution in schools, universities and institutes.

A digital campaign on Facebook and LinkedIn was set up in France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, UK, Germany the U.S., and Canada as well as a media relations programme.

Overall, the campaign brought successful results enabling the recruitment of talented and engaged researchers.
