PPR accompanied the media launch of RDK (Rare Disease Knowledge), the first free connected medical device for healthcare professionals, designed to combat diagnostic error among patients suffering from rare diseases (300 million people affected around the world, +6,200 rare diseases listed and average time to diagnosis of 5 years for a patient from the first symptoms).
The challenge: raise awareness on the usefulness and value of the app and the public-private development partnership between As We Know®, Tekkare® and Orphanet-Inserm (The rare disease portal and orphan medication) to embark the community of doctors and new partners.
